Collaborative Efforts jn Crisis: A Case from Noabari Village
In the remote village of Noabari, under Killa Block, Udaipur our organisation were made aware of a dire situation involving one of its residents, Mahananda Jamatia. His wife, Purna Lakhi Jamatia, became paralyzed following the delivery of their child, who was also suffering from jaundice. This occurred amid the significant challenges posed by the lockdown.
Upon learning about their plight, our organization promptly intervened. We provided crucial financial support, emotional guidance, and advice for medical treatment. Thanks to these efforts, and in collaboration with local services, we were able to make a meaningful impact on the family’s situation.
On May 9, 2020, Mahananda Jamatia informed us that both his wife and newborn were gradually recovering. This positive outcome was made possible through the exceptional support we received from the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) and the Killa Primary Health Centre (PHC).
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Sister Manabi Jamatia from MPS, Killa PHC, whose dedication in providing medical support played a crucial role in the recovery process.
Our collective efforts highlight the importance of community support and the power of timely intervention in overcoming health crises, particularly during challenging times like the lockdown. We remain committed to offering assistance to those in need and fostering a supportive environment for recovery and well-being.
