Team UTF Celebrates 8th Foundation Day with Students of Naireng Kami School

In a heartfelt gesture, the United Triprasa Forum (UTF) marked its 8th Foundation Day away from air-conditioned conference rooms, choosing instead to celebrate with the students of Naireng Kami School, also known as Khumpui Academy. The school, located in Hathai Kotor, serves students from financially unstable families across Tripura, many of whom struggle to afford basic necessities like notebooks, pens, and pencils.

Moved by the challenges these students face, UTF decided to celebrate this important milestone with them, making the day special. A cake-cutting ceremony was held with the students, and UTF distributed 300 notebooks and 750 pens to ensure they had the materials they needed for their studies. Additionally, the organization arranged a dinner, including 22 kg of pork, for the hostel students, creating a joyful and memorable experience.

The celebration was not just about material support. UTF also organized a quiz competition to promote awareness and learning among the students. A total of 25 students who answered the quiz questions correctly were rewarded with ₹100 each, encouraging them to actively participate in educational activities.

The event, which started after the school’s sixth period at 3:30 PM, was attended by key members of UTF, including founding members and well-wishers. Mr. Budhilian Hrangkhawl, one of UTF’s founding members, its first president, and a senior advisor, who is also a respected officer in the Tripura Civil Service, delivered an educational and inspirational speech. He highlighted UTF’s mission and vision, urging students to focus on their education and use it as a tool for their future success. Mr. Vincent Debbarma, another prominent figure, assured the students that anyone needing educational support could always reach out to UTF for help.

Mr. Sajal Debbarma, the current president of UTF, expressed his gratitude and reaffirmed UTF’s commitment to supporting those in need. He emphasized that UTF will continue to provide assistance to underprivileged students, just as it has done since its inception.

Many well-wishers and UTF members attended the event, including Tanushree, Swapna, Dr. Amulya, Budha, Sandhya, Binoy, Sumit, UTF secretary Dinesh Debbarma, and assistant treasurer Apujit. The entire organization expressed its sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to making the event a success.

This celebration not only marked a significant milestone for UTF but also strengthened the bond between the organization and the students of Naireng Kami School, reaffirming UTF’s dedication to educational support and community development.
