UTF Adds Another Feather to its Cap: Outreach and Support in Saimaruwa Kami
27th April 2019, Saimaruwa Kami, Uttar Brajendra Nagar, Killa RD Block, Udaipur Subdivision, Gomati District
In another milestone for the United Tiprasa Forum (UTF), the team marked its presence in the Saimaruwa Kami community of Uttar Brajendra Nagar VC. The UTF members engaged in a day filled with community service, education outreach, and support for local families, leaving a meaningful impact on the lives of residents in the Killa RD Block area of Gomati District.
The team’s visit commenced with a warm and collaborative session at Yapri Kwtal English Medium School, where they met with school authorities, educators, and students. UTF members took the opportunity to understand the school’s needs and challenges, as well as to motivate the students through inspiring words on the importance of education and community. As a gesture of support, UTF distributed school kit packs to the students at Yapri Kwtal English Medium School and the nearby Saimaruwa Anganwadi Centre. These kits, complete with essential educational supplies, aimed to enhance the learning experience and encourage the students’ dedication to their studies.
After their engagement with the school community, UTF members proceeded to a separate mission within the village—supporting the construction of a new house for Mrs. Patalti Jamatia and Mr. Birendra Jamatia, a family in need of improved living conditions. The UTF team took hands-on involvement in the construction, ensuring the family would soon have a safe, stable, and supportive environment. This effort highlights UTF’s commitment not only to educational support but also to the foundational aspects of well-being, such as housing security.
The day’s accomplishments were made possible through the dedication and cooperation of UTF members, as well as invaluable contributions from community members, including Mr. Purna Chandra Jamatia, Mr. Jugnu Jamatia, and Mr. Govinda Jamatia, whose supportive efforts were instrumental in bringing the project to fruition. Their collective spirit and generosity have set an example of how local involvement and organizational outreach can work hand-in-hand to build a stronger, more compassionate community.
UTF extends heartfelt gratitude to all well-wishers and donors whose contributions enable such meaningful outreach efforts. The day’s activities in Saimaruwa Kami serve as a reminder of UTF’s unwavering dedication to uplifting lives through education, housing support, and community solidarity. Each visit adds another feather to UTF’s cap, empowering the organization to continue reaching new heights in its mission to serve the Tiprasa community.
