UTF NGO Provides Critical Support to Thunderstorm-Affected Family
In a tragic incident on May 24, 2021, during heavy rain and thunderstorms, a family fell victim to the elements. Seven-year-old Master Labajoy Tripura and four-year-old Master Rajesh Tripura, along with their three pigs, suffered the shock of the thunderstorm. Compounded by financial difficulties, the family was unable to seek medical treatment for the children after the incident.
Upon learning of their plight, the UTF (United Tiprasa Forum) team swiftly responded. On May 25, 2021, a team from UTF visited their home and took immediate action. Recognizing the urgent need for medical attention, the team transported the children to the local Manikpur PHC (Primary Health Center), where they facilitated necessary treatment and provided essential medications.
Moreover, demonstrating their commitment to comprehensive support, UTF also furnished the children with stationery supplies, new clothes, and even arranged for the family to acquire a replacement pig, crucial for their livelihood.
Ratanlal Tripura, a dedicated member of UTF, spearheaded these efforts. His leadership and compassion ensured that timely aid reached the affected family, alleviating their immediate distress.
“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ratanlal Tripura and urge the community to join us in supporting further initiatives,” expressed UTF spokesperson, emphasizing the ongoing need for collective assistance in times of crisis.
UTF continues to stand as a beacon of hope, delivering crucial aid and fostering resilience within communities in need.
