The Takarjala Drugs Rehabilitation Center, established in October 2023 by Twipra Sikla Bodol, operates as a nonprofit facility dedicated to providing accessible and effective drug rehabilitation services. Its mission focuses on supporting young people from Takarjala, Jampuijala, Golaghati, Gabordi, and nearby areas, offering them nearly cost-free treatment. Over the past year, the center has made remarkable progress, helping numerous young Tiprasa men and women regain their health and return to stable, substance-free lives. This achievement is largely thanks to the selfless efforts of Twipra Sikla Bodol members, who have committed their time, labour, and personal financial resources to sustain the center and its mission. Their dedication to the betterment of the community and their resolve to combat drug addiction has been widely praised within and beyond the region.

The anniversary celebration included a program that brought together rehabilitated individuals, their families, and local community members. UTF President was a guest of honour at the event, highlighting the organization’s commitment to supporting health and social welfare initiatives. UTF’s donation of food supplies, including rice and eggs, was a tangible way to ease some of the center’s operational burdens and contribute directly to its continued impact. This contribution is also a reflection of UTF’s broader dedication to community betterment, aiming to strengthen the lives of Tiprasa youths and support initiatives that restore hope and opportunity.

The rehabilitation center’s successful first year has been a testament to the power of community-driven initiatives. Through a combination of counselling, therapy, and community engagement, Twipra Sikla Bodol has helped guide young people back toward healthy, productive lives. This anniversary and the UTF’s generous support underscore the ongoing importance of collaborative efforts in overcoming the region’s most pressing social challenges.
