Celebrating Unity and Service: UTF’s 3rd Foundation Day at Jampuijala
The United Tiprasa Forum (UTF) marked its 3rd Foundation Day on September 27, 2020, with a series of meaningful and impactful activities in Jampuijala. This day was a reflection of UTF’s unwavering commitment to community service, education, and environmental sustainability, echoing its core mission to uplift and support the Tiprasa community.
The celebration, organized by the UTF Jampuijala team under the leadership of Brother Kishore and Sister Ria, began with an inspiring act of environmental stewardship. The team initiated the day by planting trees on the premises of the Jampuijala Primary Health Center (PHC). This tree-planting activity was not just a gesture of celebration but also a symbol of the NGO’s dedication to promoting environmental sustainability and the health benefits that a greener environment brings to the community.
Following the tree-planting ceremony, the UTF team turned their attention to the educational needs of the local children. In line with their ongoing efforts to support education, the team distributed educational kits and books to students. These kits, equipped with essential school supplies, aim to alleviate the financial burden on families and ensure that every child has the necessary tools to pursue their studies effectively.
In response to the ongoing global health crisis, UTF also provided masks to the students, reinforcing the importance of health and safety measures in combating the spread of COVID-19. This initiative was a testament to UTF’s proactive approach in addressing the immediate needs of the community during challenging times.
The celebration continued with the distribution of fruits and sweets, bringing joy and a sense of festivity to the young students. This simple act of kindness not only brightened the students’ day but also underscored UTF’s belief in nurturing a caring and supportive community.
Beyond the students, UTF extended its compassion to the elderly residents of Sangkuma Kami and Charkolok Kami. The team made special visits to these villages, offering acts of kindness and support to the elderly, recognizing their invaluable role in the community. This gesture highlighted UTF’s holistic approach to community service, where every segment of society, from the youngest to the oldest, is cared for and valued.
The 3rd Foundation Day celebration at Jampuijala was more than just an anniversary—it was a reaffirmation of UTF’s commitment to its mission of service, education, and sustainability. Through the leadership of Brother Kishore and Sister Ria, the event successfully embodied the spirit of unity and compassion that drives UTF forward.
As UTF continues to grow and expand its impact, the values demonstrated on this Foundation Day will remain at the heart of its efforts. With every tree planted, book distributed, and act of kindness extended, UTF is building a legacy of positive change that will benefit the Tiprasa community for generations to come.
